Pretoria, Jun 13 (Prensa Latina) The 8th South African Conference on AIDS began today in Durban, focused on new ideas to put an end to that epidemics that infects 2,880,000 people annually in that country.
Ntlando Yola, one of the activists of the organization Prevention of HIV-AIDS, announced those numbers to the participants in that annual meeting, a situation that persists 32 years after the epidemics began and 23 after the establishment of democracy in South Africa, he said.
