Buenos Aires, Jun 3 (P L) The Union of Cuban Residents in Argentina (URCA) demanded this Wednesday once again the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on their country of birth, and asked to rule it out it as a nation that does not cooperate against terrorism.
In a statement, URCA members rejected the inclusion of Cuba on the U.S. government’s list of countries which do not fully cooperate against terrorism and recalled that their homeland has served in various scenarios as a guarantor of peace talks on conflicts in countries of the region.
In any case, we have been the victims of many terrorist actions planned from the territory of the United States and carried out against the Cuban population, while at the same time an economic siege has been imposed since February 7, 1962.
