Paris, Jun 14 (P L) Cuba”s ambassador to UNESCO, Dulce Buergo, ratified her country”s commitment to the Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB), speaking at the 29th meeting of the International Coordination Council of that project.
At the meeting that continues today, the diplomatic representative highlighted the intense action of the MAB National Committee, in the coordination of the six reserves of the Biosphere of Cuba.
She also commented on the numerous initiatives undertaken in the last period to strengthen the work of protecting the reserves and their active participation in the different activities summoned by the Ibero-American MAB Network.
