Afghanistan: Several Journalists Killed by Suicide Bomber.

Policemen help Afghan journalists, victims of a second blast, in Kabul, Afghanistan April 30, 2018.

The journalists arrived to cover the first explosion when a second suicide bomber carried out an attack.

A twin blast in Afghanistan has claimed the lives of at least 29 people andwounded 40 others according to TOLO News, citing Ministry of Public Health officials.

Several journalists arrived to report on the first explosion when a second suicide bomber carried out an attack, officials have said. The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee confirmed that seven journalists are among the dead. Four police officials have been reported dead in the double blast.

More than 20 million children and teenagers live in poverty in Mexico. December 9, 2004. Mexico City,
About 80 percent of Mexico’s Indigenous children live in poverty.

As Mexico marks Child’s Day Tuesday, data shows that five in 10 children live in poverty in the country, while among Indigenous children, the rate goes up to eight in 10, according to a report by the National Council of Social Development Policy Evaluation (Coneval).

Nigeria: Over a Dozen Dead After Herdsmen Shoot up Church.

Several days ago, 10 people were allegedly killed by herdsmen in the state.

“The herdsmen burnt nearly 50 houses during the attack and sacked the entire community,” a state official said.

Nigerian police have reported that armed herdsmen opened fire on a congregation killing 16 people, and injuring others on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir says Qatar has to pay for the U.S. military presence in Syria.

Trump focused on “countries that are in the area, some of which are immensely wealthy” that should fill the gap after the United States withdraws from the region.

On Tuesday, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said neighbor Qatar should support the presence of U.S. military forces in Syria.

Russia Disgruntled with London’s Response on Skripal Case.

 (P L) Russia expressed dissatisfaction today over London’s response regarding the alleged poisoning of double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Julia, in the English city of Salisbury.
We, of course, will need more time for a better analysis, the Russian delegation before the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said.

But the first impression is that the Brits did not answer the important questions made by Russia at the OPCW on the Skripal case, Russia pointed out.

British home secretary said that anyone who had “suffered loss” would be compensated.

Rudd explained that the citizenship offer would apply to families of Caribbean migrants who came to the United Kingdom between 1948 and 1973.

Thousands of people belonging to the Windrush generation from all Commonwealth countries and their family members will be granted full British citizenship, the home secretary said.

Javier Valdez fue asesinado a balazos en Culiacán, en el estado occidental de Sinaloa, el 15 de mayo de 2017.

The news site alleged that the motive of the killing was likely related to information Valdez had published prior to his death.

A suspect was held in connection with the murder of veteran journalist Javier Valdez, Mexican authorities reported late Monday.
