Mexico, Nov 12 (P L) Mexicans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of former Bolivian President Evo Morales, who departed from his country on Monday on a military plane that stopped over for fuel in Paraguay.

Although the expected arrival time has not yet been publicly announced and Morales’ route has been kept secret, sources claim the aircraft is scheduled to arrive in Mexico City at 9:00 hours, local time.

The plane, a Gulfsteam 550, license XC-LOK and registration number 3916, is expected to arrive at the former Presidential Hangar, currently the Sixth Air Group, where three vehicles from the Foreign Ministry arrived at dawn.

The Organization of American States (OAS) promoted the coup d’état against Morales’ government, after it declared his electoral victory illegal, although no evidence was produced to support OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro’s statements.

Morales stated in Cochabamba that his stay in Mexico will be temporary and that he will return to his country.
