Blyde said the people of Venezuela and the world at large will not recognize the results that have been reported by the head of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Tibisay Lucena.

“We do not recognize the results offered by Tibisay Lucena,” he said in a statement.

The results of Sunday’s election, which recorded victories across 17 states for the Nicolas Maduro-led Psuv, compared to five for the opposition, has been slammed as being erroneous by the MUD representative.

Blyde said the results are not reflective of those being tracked by his party. He also accused the electorate of misrepresenting the location of the polling stations in a bid to confuse voters.

“In the first place, they violated citizens’ rights by unconsciously relocating the CNE’s voting centers and other abusive attitudes and now violate the Venezuelan vote,” Blyde said.

“We have asked the regional commanders to verify the whole process, to have everything audited, even in the states that declared MUD candidates as winners,” he said.

“We invite the Venezuelan people to fight and change the electoral system,” Blyde said encouraging “street activities” as earlier as tomorrow.
