The Cuban Congress of Dermatology will take place in Havana between October 4 and 7, with the participation of about 300 national and foreign representatives, said the coordinators.

According to Dr. Olayne Gray, president of the organizing committee, the meeting will gather skin specialists, immunologists, cosmetologists and biotech companies both domestic and foreign.

The experts will lecture on almost 20 different themes, among them: acne, skin cancer, dermatological surgery, dermocosmetic, dermatology in primary health care, leprosy, sexually transmitted infections, psoriasis, vitiligo and other disorders.

The forum will include several sub-events such as the first Meeting of Latin American, Caribbean and African Dermatologists, graduated in Cuba, Gray added.

It will be a space for exchange with specialists trained in our country to discuss the news and experiences gained since they left the classroom, Gray said.
